Retooling My Google Reader

So I'm looking at the blogs I follow, all of them good, and I'm thinking I want to read some unusual suspects. But the problem with unusual suspects is that they're "unusual," at least not known to you.

So, I wonder if there are any readers out there who can help. Whose blog do you read and enjoy that's not found in everybody else's blogroll? Any unusual suspects I should consider adding to my reader?

Since, according to your previous post, you find yourself in Canada, I would suggest Paul Martin's blog, kerux noemata, Clint Humfrey's blog, Cowboyology, and Terry Stauffer's blog, New Lumps. All three are Canadian pastor's whose writings are insightful and Christ-exalting.

Rob Tombrella is a pastor at the Sovereign Grace church in Frisco, Tx. His blog consists of relfections on his attempts to share the gospel and invite people to church. Very honest, funny, and helpful.

I really enjoy this photoblog from the Boston Globe. They do a great job of capturing humanity on photo.

They did great sections on the uprisings in western china and even a section on Hiroshima.

I usually read:

- Seth Godin's blog www.sethgodin.com

All three + yours are usually a good blend of the Word, advice, funny and motivating.

A local friend writes a short and usually beautiful reflection on faith matters: http://enjoyingjesus.blogspot.com/

New for my rss reader is http://lingamish.com/. These are the always interesting musings and observations of David Ker, a translator with Wycliffe Bible Translators serving in Mozambique.

Hey Pastor Thabiti,

We met and spoke briefly at the WorshipGod 2009 conference. I was the guy who was grateful for your message and mentioned my pastor's vision of "The Church as the Hermeneutic of the Gospel". You remember?

Anyway, I follow a few ordinary people who think and feel very unique things:

2. Daily Gospel Quote blog
