Oh dear.

This looks very much like trying to shoot an enemy that doesn't exist. The alleged choice between vile greed represented by Father Christmas and doing Christmas right is an unhelpful caricature. It's quite possible to have fun with the story of Santa without giving way to a "desperate" seeking of presents.

Pity, as the first couple of minutes were pretty funny.
