I would add to your list of ways to edify the church is to know your spiritual gift and use it in a biblical manner. After all 1 Cor. 12:7 says "To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."<BR/><BR/>Now I myself am one who will argue for the cessation of some gifts, but I believe that many of the gifts are still in operation, and I believe that each believer is given a gift.<BR/><BR/>If one believer is given the gift of evangelism, then they should be active in their gift and thereby edifying the church by bringing in new members. If one is gifted as a teacher, then they should teach and bring more knowledge of God's word to the body, if one administrates.... and so on.<BR/><BR/>This is a great post.
