Last night our choir had it's annual Christmas Cantata. It's no boast to say that their performance is outstanding every year. But last night was as moving and powerful a cantata as I've seen. The power in the voices and the lyrics was simply amazing.
I don't have any video or audio yet--perhaps someone will post some soon. But here's a pic from the Adams:

Hi Pastor Thabiti,
The choir was really amazing! What is more important was the message they brought to us. The cantata reminded us of our church in NC, because its a service we go to each year.
We hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Zach and Corey,
So right about the message!
Hey, what part of NC are you from? Lexington is home for me, and my wife is from Chocowinity (out east).

We're from the Raleigh area. Zach went to NC State University and I went to Campbell University. My mom's family is from out east though.
What?! We've gotta get together. Kristie and I both are State alum. We lived in Raleigh for 12 years. Always good to connect with folks from 'back home.'
Let us know if we can serve you guys in any way. Are you here for Christmas?

Wow that is crazy! Both of my parents went to State too. Zach crossed over from a UNC fan when he decided to go to NCSU for college! We haven't met anyone here that knows of any cities in North Carolina. They just say, "Oh, the Carolinas" as if it is all one big state!
We are enjoying all that you're already doing when you preach. Often it leads to great discussions on the ride home and throughout the week! We're leaving on Friday to go home for Christmas, but will be back early January for work and classes.
Tell Zach I'm glad to see he's come over to the light, that he's left the dark realm of UNC! The Lord's doing a good work in his life :-)
I hope to see you guys tomorrow. If I miss you, have a great trip home for Christmas. Try to have some barbecue for us, and maybe a trip by Goodberry's.
Merry Christmas!

Oh, I keep forgetting to ask what church you all attended while in NC?
We will absolutely have barbecue and Goodberrys! :) We went to Aversboro Road Baptist Church, off of Timber Drive near HWY 70. It's technically in Garner, but only about 10 minutes away from my house.
Hope to see you tomorrow!
