Praying for Lost Family and Friends

If there is one thing that troubles the Christian, it's the agony of watching family and friends continue unrepentant and unregenerate. Sometimes the concern is overwhelming. Eric Simmons offers some good words of encouragement in "Faith for Unsaved Family and Friends" over at New Attitude Humble Orthodoxy. Read and pray.

I appreciate your blog my brother and miss you tremendously. I believe we all can relate in some way to those who are unrepentant and unregenerated. Hoping that they too will see the truth in these last days. I'm reminded of Paul's great concern for his jewish brothers in Romans 9, "that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. For I wish if it were possible to be accursed from Christ for my brethern." Now thats a strong statement, to wish to be accursed from Christ.

May we remain or seek to be faithful and not discourage in praying and sharig the truth for those who are lost.
