Southwestern will not knowingly endorse in any way, advertise, or commend
the conclusions of the contemporary charismatic movement including private
prayer language. Neither will Southwestern knowingly employ professors or
administrators who promote such practices.

Do you think Southwestern just threw the baby out with the bathwater? While I agree many of the “conclusions of the contemporary charismatic movement” are non-biblical, it would seem the lack of a formal collection of these contemporary conclusions makes it difficult to define what exactly Southwestern is rejecting. It would seem the Seminary would be better served by passing a resolution that addresses a more foundational issue that, when misunderstood, leads to the types of Scriptural misunderstandings it has in view regarding modern charismatics. Either way, I do not think Southwestern has formally declared itself a cessationist Seminary, so why not be more precise?
