Hunters and Gatherers

My wife is a wonderful cook, and normally gets dinner on the table at a reasonable hour. But on this day, she came home with the groceries a little too late for our 11-month old son. Being the hunter-gatherer that he is, he took matters into his own hands!

That's my boy!

He's a scavenger! I caught my daughter doing the same the other day. She climbs the fridge like a ladder...

Why do you keep the Goldfish in the fridge? :)

Hey Tim,
We're raising kids from the same tribe, huh? :-)

And I don't know why Goldfish are in the fridge?

For that matter, I don't know why I can look in the fridge and "not see anything to eat" when my wife assures me that there is tons of stuff there!

Phooey. I thought I'd be the first one to make the "goldfish in the fridge" connection.

What other fun things do you have in there ... ?

Me? I've got pickled stuff in mine -- pickled okra, pickled mango and lemon, pickled cucumbers. Always something to munch on! :-)

Hey T,

It seems the little man has yet to learn that it is not just the Goldfish he should be after. It would appear that he should learn to wash them down with some of those Caribbean Spirits located in the fridge door :-).

My 11 month old does the same thing, a complete hunter-gatherer-explorer.

Cute kid Thabiti.

Aw! That's too bad, Kristie. I was hoping that the next time I'm in Grand Cayman, TA and I could share a toast or two. Alas, sparkling cider will have to do.

He's adorable! Is he walking yet? Our little one (Luke- 10 mo) can't get the door open yet....
Blessings!

We are definately related! It's all about the food! Are there cookies in the red container with the green lid - because I remember getting a package of cookies in a similiar container...oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip please. :-)

Titus is growing up and is (obviously) soooo adorable! Thanks for sharing such great photos!
