A contemplation of all things church... and a desire for an increasingly pure church reformed by the word of God.
This is too true. My mother is a long time, staunch Democrat (as are most African-Americans of her generation). I remember her frequently arguing to me that Bill Clinton was the greatest President in history and I making the case that while he was not the worse, he was far closer to the bottom than the top. However, last month we were again talking politics and to my surprise she said that the Clintons were dirty politicians and she had lost all respect for them. I told my mother, "Welcome to the brighter side of life."
But Thabiti, you said there is no such thing as race ... It was really nice to meet you at T4G, and I really enjoyed your talk. You began by saying what I've believed for a long time, but your application went way beyond my thinking. Thank you.
That is very, very sad. But I always felt Mrs. Clinton was a politician above all else.
