Enjoyed that on my Saturday evening! Love the part with just the drums and, "I know, I know, Iknow..." Good stuff.

Pastor T,
I am reading your book "What is a healthy church member." i am wondering if you had a certain passage of scripture that motivated your thoughts for the book. I know you might say the whole bible but if you can narrow it down for a brotha lol!

Really enjoyed your sermons at the conference.
Peace

It seems the sadder Mr. Withers gets, the happier his drummer gets.

Great Song.

Pastor - My wife sent me a link to your post because this is one of my favorites as well! Sing along one time for me so I can say I sang with Pastor Anyabwile. HA! Blessings my brother. Have a great Lord's day tomorrow.

Hey Curtis,
Two passages have been fairly prominent in thinking about life together in the local church: 1 Cor. 12:12-27 and Eph. 4:11-16. Both use the body imagery, and both make both membership and service in the body absolutely necessary.

I'm a big fan, so I may be biased, but I think he's the most underrated of his era.

Add "Lovely Day" and "Use Me" and "Lean on Me" and "Just the Two of Us" (among others) and you're got some significant biggies.
