Forget the World Series...

Who is the best NBA player in the world?

I think Dime Magazine has it correct in selecting D-Wade at the top of their top ten. He's a monster on the hardwoods and seems to be a good guy off the court as well.

Look at that vertical! Reminds me of myself... 50 pounds and 18 years ago ;-)

I had no idea you were a hoopster. Props to you, bro. ;) I'm convinced that basketball is the perfect compliment to sound theology.

On the NBA thing, I'm susceptible to Paul Pierce myself.

C'mon, man, everyone knows that it's Lebron "King" James. Besides, with a nickname like that, he must be the best. At least, that's what the "King James Only" folks would say :-).

Isn't it sad, brother? These days, I find myself beginning all too many statements with the phrase, "25 years and 50 pounds ago"....Ah, well. One day these earthly tents will be changed, and made like unto His glorious body. We won't be wistfully looking back then!
